"Sassy and I began training at Hole in the Wall Dog Training Academy in January 2013 with the goal of becoming a Therapy Team. We had a lot of work to do!  Sassy received her AKC Canine Good Citizen title in April 2013, a requirement for therapy teams. We became a Therapy Team with Love on a Leash in August 2013 and went on to join Intermountain Therapy’s R.E.A.D (Reading Education Assistance Dog) program in July 2015. Under Pat’s mentor-ship I continued to get more involved in training by assisting with classes and events. In August 2016 I became an AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator. I love learning new positive reinforcement training methods (Sassy gets to help!) and helping owners solve problems and discover their dog’s wonderful personalities through fun games and training."

Pat is an amazing trainer who works with owners and dogs alike patiently. All 3 of my dogs love going to Hole in the Wall!

We have been going to Hole in the Wall for about 6 months now, working towards therapy work with our Golden Retriever. Ms. Pat is an excellent trainer with tremendous flexibility and a great environment to train your dog, whatever your goals are. Our Dog, Murphy, has gone from no training, to being able to sit, lie down, stay, meet with strangers (and their dogs), walk on a loose leash, and many other talents that have truly improved the relationship I have with my dog.

Thank you so much for your help and support.

You have been outstanding in your efforts.

I can never thank you enough. You have been a real help and inspiration.

Many thanks,

Wendy Rose

Thank you so much for helping me gets started with Bella.  You just opened the floodgate….all she wants to do now is learn .I just didn’t know how to teach her.  I feel like I’m working with Helen Keller when she finally learned there was a big world out there and things have names.  “Bella look” is solid.  She even figured out that if I turn my back she has to come around to look in my eyes. She’s an amazing little pup.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I will always be grateful for the many things you taught me about working with a dog. I use those lessons daily and think of you so often. You were so professional - firm and not hesitate to point out the errors that needed work, and yet fun to learn from at the same time. That's a real talent.

All the best,

Chris
